This morning I told Gary that Parker would start crawling this week. Just watching him you could tell that he had something new up his sleeve. My mother in law told me today that he was inching along the floor for something. This afternoon when I got home he started crawling. The knees are not involved with the kind of crawl. No sir. He does a push up. No joke. A push up. And then he launches himself across the floor and then doe it all over again. It's so funny and so darn cute. I love these kids.
Lucas is really starting to talk. He knows everything. Where is the sky? Where is the bear? Where is the soccer ball? He can tell you where anything is which means he knows what the object or place is. So I am not worried about anything. Gary said Lucas is choosing not to talk. So today he said blue and was correct so I would quiz him and he definitely is saying that blue is the color and he is correct. So that is fun. He is saying ballon and fire truck. I don't want. Cup. Please. He says several other things. I know it seems like he should be saying more but developmentally he is on track. He calls animals by their sound. Moos. Quack Quacks. He does say pig fo pig. The boy can talk and it seems like he might actually start to do it. GOOOOO LUCAS!
I have to teach again tomorrow. I don't want to. I am tired and I am done for this semester. Mentally anyway. I am exhausted. I am so ready for vacation to get here.
We are doing shopping on behalf of the Easter Bunny tomorrow. Baskets need to be filled. We are going to meet up with the Bunny himself for some pictures too. Should be a really fun er....interesting time.
